One of the most important influences and elements of my work is a spiritual path. Mask making is a revelatory process allowing for inner development of my personal relationship with the outer world. Removing the "mask" of my everyday persona safely allows me to reveal and become "me." These masks encompass pieces made from many different materials in a variety of different styles and techniques. Making these pieces took some time, allowing for a mindful and meditative approach to the process. |
